Quality Program
Effective
May 30, 2008 the quality management system established by Precision
Processing Systems was determined to be in compliance with the
Aerospace Standard AS 9100 Rev. B and the International Quality
System Standard ISO 90001:2000. PPS began the quality certification
process in November of 2007 and was recommended for certification in
April of 2008 after the first official visit. PPS was able to
complete the quality certification process in record time because
the management system already in place emphasized quality processes
and because the PPS family work as a team to accomplish company
goals. All of the employees of PPS are proud of our noteworthy
accomplishment. We look forward to the expansion in services and
products that these certifications will enable us to achieve.
The quality department at PPS is staffed by quality technicians who
meticulously monitor every specified part and the processes
producing these parts to ensure that quality is embedded in every
product. We maintain quality ratings that are 99% or better and
consequently exceed the quality specifications of our customers. Our
record of high quality ratings is one of the main reasons that we
have established and sustained long term customer relationships.
The PPS Quality Assurance Program, AS 9100 Rev. B and ISO 90001:2000,
has integrated provisions to accommodate the needs of each customer.
Continuous improvement will be achieved through this process
approach. The AS9100 standard helps companies develop training
consistencies, a quality policy, and appropriate documentation and
records.
Precision Processing Systems has over twenty-five years of
experience in contract machining. We provide CNC (Computer
Numerical Control) Turning, CNC Milling, and CNC Swiss Screw Machine
capabilities to the aerospace, textile, electronic, medical,
automotive and scientific industries.
